Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your relationship with Bluffbet N.V., operating the Bluff Bet online gambling services via bluffbet-play.ca, including the Bluff Bet pages and any associated mirror domains that provide access to the same services (collectively, the "Site" and the "Services"). These Terms are effective as of 1 January 2026 and apply to all access to and use of the Services by users resident or located in Canada, subject to local law.
Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms, the following definitions apply:
- Operator, Company, we, us, our: Bluffbet N.V., a private limited liability company (N.V.) incorporated under the laws of Curaçao and operating Bluff Bet under a sub-licence issued by Antillephone N.V. under master licence no. 8048/JAZ.
- Site: The website bluffbet-play.ca, including the Bluff Bet pages and any official associated or mirror domains (such as bluffbet.com and bluffbet.io) that provide access to the same Services.
- Services: All online gambling and related services made available on the Site, including but not limited to casino games, live casino, betting opportunities, bonuses, promotions, account services, and customer support.
- User or Player or you: Any natural person who accesses the Site, opens an account, or otherwise uses the Services.
- Account: A registered user account created on the Site that enables a Player to deposit funds, place Bets, participate in Games, and withdraw winnings.
- Game(s): Any casino, live casino, slots, table games, or other gambling products available on the Site.
- Bet or Wager: Any sum of money or monetary value staked by you on a Game or other event offered through the Site.
- Bonus: Any funds, free spins, free bets, credits, or other promotional value that we add to your Account as part of a promotion, loyalty program, or other offer, which may be subject to specific conditions and wagering requirements.
- Real Money Balance: Funds that you have deposited into your Account, plus any winnings derived from such funds, that are not subject to wagering requirements.
- Bonus Balance: Any Bonus and winnings associated with a Bonus that are subject to wagering requirements or other conditions.
- KYC (Know Your Customer): Identity and verification checks that we are legally or contractually required to perform, including verification of identity, age, address, payment method ownership, and source of funds.
- Payment Method: Any method used to deposit or withdraw funds, including but not limited to credit/debit cards, e-wallets, bank transfers, prepaid vouchers, and cryptocurrencies, to the extent supported.
- Responsible Gambling Tools: Limits, self-exclusion options, and other controls provided on the Site to help you manage your gambling activity.
- ADR: Alternative Dispute Resolution body or mechanism for handling unresolved complaints, including the contact at [email protected] associated with Antillephone N.V.
Account Registration
Eligibility and Age Requirements
- Minimum age: You may only open an Account and use the Services if you are at least 18 years old and have reached the minimum legal age for gambling in your province or territory of residence in Canada (which is 18 or 19, depending on the province/territory).
- Prohibited jurisdictions: You must not use the Services if you are:
- Resident in, or physically located in, any jurisdiction where online gambling with us is illegal or not permitted under local law; this expressly includes the province of Ontario, where the Services are not locally authorized.
- On any self-exclusion register or otherwise prohibited from gambling under applicable laws or court orders.
- One account rule: You may hold only one Account with us. Multiple Accounts per person, household, IP address, or device may be closed, and balances may be managed in accordance with these Terms.
Registration Process
- You must complete the online registration form on the Site, providing:
- Full legal name;
- Date of birth;
- Residential address and country of residence (Canada, if applicable);
- Valid email address and (where requested) mobile number;
- Preferred currency and other requested information.
- After registration, you may be required to verify your email by clicking a confirmation link we send to the address provided.
- We reserve the right to accept or reject any Account application at our sole discretion and without obligation to provide a reason, subject to applicable law.
KYC, Verification and Ongoing Checks
- We may, at any time (and before allowing withdrawals), require you to provide KYC documentation, including but not limited to:
- Government-issued photo ID (e.g., passport, driver's licence);
- Proof of address (e.g., utility bill or bank statement);
- Proof of ownership of Payment Method(s);
- Evidence of source of funds or wealth where required under anti-money laundering rules.
- Your Account may be suspended, withholdings applied to funds, and withdrawals delayed until satisfactory documentation is received and verified.
- We may conduct periodic checks, including database and credit checks, to comply with anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing obligations and to verify that you remain eligible to use the Services.
- If verification cannot be completed, we may close your Account and manage any remaining funds in accordance with applicable law and these Terms.
Accuracy of Information and Account Security
- You warrant that all information you provide to us is accurate, complete, and up-to-date. You must promptly update your details via the Site or customer support when changes occur.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your username, password, and other login credentials, and for all activity conducted through your Account.
- You must:
- Not share your Account or credentials with any third party;
- Not allow any other person to access the Services using your Account;
- Immediately notify us at [email protected] if you suspect any unauthorized access or security breach.
- We are entitled to treat any activity using correct login details as having been performed by you.
Betting & Gameplay Rules
Placing Bets and Acceptance
- All Bets must be placed via your Account using the interfaces provided on the Site. We do not accept Bets placed by email, phone, or any method not explicitly supported on the Site.
- A Bet is considered accepted when it is confirmed by the relevant Game server and appears in your Account history. Until such confirmation, we may refuse or limit any Bet at our discretion.
- Each Game may have specific minimum and maximum stake limits. These limits are displayed within the Game interface or on the relevant information page and may change from time to time.
- It is your responsibility to ensure that your Bet details (stake, game selection, payline, etc.) are correct before final confirmation. Once accepted, Bets generally cannot be modified or cancelled.
Game Rules and Results
- Each Game is governed by its specific game rules and payout tables as displayed within the Game or in its information section. By playing a Game, you agree to be bound by those rules.
- The outcome of each Game is determined by a random number generator (RNG) or by live-dealer procedures, as applicable. The result recorded by our systems shall be final and binding.
- In the event of a discrepancy between the outcome displayed on your device and our server records, the latter shall prevail, and any adjustment will be made to your Account accordingly.
Errors, Malfunctions and Voids
- If a Game, Bet, or payout is affected by an obvious error, malfunction, misconfiguration, or software/hardware failure (a "Malfunction"), we may:
- Void affected Bets and restore your Account to the balance prior to the Malfunction; or
- Adjust winnings and losses to reflect the correct outcome had the Malfunction not occurred.
- We do not accept liability for Bets that are incomplete, not recorded, or lost due to technical or communication failures, except to refund the stake for any Bet we deem void in accordance with these Terms.
Conduct in Live Casino, Chats and on the Site
- You must conduct yourself respectfully and lawfully when using live casino tables, chat functions, or any interactive features. In particular, you must not:
- Use offensive, abusive, defamatory, or discriminatory language;
- Harass, threaten, or intimidate dealers, staff, or other players;
- Promote or solicit illegal activities or share personal data of others;
- Advertise or promote other websites or services without our consent.
- You must not engage in:
- Collusion or coordinated play designed to gain an unfair advantage;
- Use of bots, scripts, automated software, or any form of artificial intelligence to interact with the Site or Games;
- Exploitation of technical vulnerabilities, bugs, or errors ("advantage play") relating to Games, bonuses, or Site functionality.
- We may suspend or close your Account, void Bets, and confiscate Bonuses/winnings derived from prohibited conduct, in accordance with these Terms and applicable law.
Bonus Terms
Bonus Eligibility and Activation
- Bonuses and promotions (including any offers highlighted on Bluff Bet) are discretionary and may be offered to new or existing Players based on criteria determined by us.
- Each promotion or Bonus is governed by specific terms (the "Bonus Terms") which are displayed on the relevant promotion page, email, or within your Account. These Bonus Terms form part of these general Terms.
- To activate a Bonus, you may be required to:
- Opt in via the promotion interface;
- Enter a bonus or promo code;
- Meet minimum deposit or Bet requirements within stated time limits.
Wagering Requirements and Timeframes
- Bonuses generally cannot be withdrawn until any applicable wagering requirements are met. Wagering requirements specify how many times the Bonus amount, and/or deposit plus Bonus amount, must be wagered before you can withdraw Bonus-related funds.
- The specific wagering multiplier (for example, 20x, 30x, or 40x), the Games that contribute to wagering, and any maximum bet per spin/round while wagering will be stated in the Bonus Terms for each promotion.
- Bonuses are usually subject to time limits (for example, a requirement to complete wagering within a certain number of days from activation). If you do not meet the requirements within the stated timeframe, the Bonus and any associated winnings may be forfeited.
- Some Games may contribute a lower percentage (or 0%) towards wagering requirements. The contribution table, if applicable, will be specified in the Bonus Terms.
Prohibited Bonus Practices
- You must not engage in any activity that we reasonably consider to be bonus abuse, including but not limited to:
- Opening multiple Accounts to claim the same Bonus more than once;
- Placing low-risk or hedged Bets (e.g., betting on both outcomes of a game or event) to artificially meet wagering requirements;
- Using Bonus funds in conjunction with irregular betting patterns (such as very high bets relative to the Bonus amount, then reducing stakes after a win);
- Depositing and withdrawing repeatedly to trigger multiple deposit-based promotions without genuine gaming activity;
- Transferring funds between Players or colluding to exploit Bonuses.
- If we detect bonus abuse, we may, subject to applicable law:
- Cancel Bonuses and associated winnings;
- Void related Bets;
- Close or suspend Accounts and retain funds where legally justified.
Combination of Promotions
- Unless expressly stated otherwise in the Bonus Terms, Bonuses and promotions:
- Cannot be combined with other Bonuses in the same deposit or betting sequence; and
- Are applied in the order determined by us.
- If multiple promotions are active, we may prioritize wagering on one promotion at a time, and we may require completion of wagering on an existing Bonus before another becomes active.
- We reserve the right to withdraw or modify any promotion at any time for the future, without affecting Bonuses already granted, except where necessary to comply with law or regulatory requirements.
Payments & Withdrawals
Deposits
- You may deposit funds into your Account using any Payment Method displayed as available for your region, which may include:
- Debit and credit cards;
- E-wallets and payment processors;
- Bank transfers;
- Prepaid vouchers;
- Cryptocurrencies, to the extent supported for Canadian Users.
- Accepted currencies will be shown on the deposit page; Canadian dollars (CAD) may be available, but some methods may process funds in other currencies, in which case currency conversion and associated fees may apply.
- Deposited funds are credited to your Account when we receive confirmation from the payment provider. We are not responsible for delays caused by third-party payment services.
- You must only use Payment Methods that are registered in your own name. Use of third-party Payment Methods may lead to suspension of your Account and return of funds to the original owner, where possible.
Withdrawals
- Withdrawals are, where practicable, made via the same Payment Method used to deposit. Where this is not possible, we may require an alternative method and additional verification.
- Before processing withdrawals, we may conduct KYC and anti-money laundering checks. Failure to satisfactorily complete these checks may delay or prevent withdrawals.
- We aim to process withdrawal requests within a reasonable timeframe (for example, within a few business days), but exact processing times will depend on:
- Internal review and verification processes;
- The payment provider's own processing times;
- Public holidays, weekends, and external circumstances beyond our control.
- Minimum and maximum withdrawal limits may apply per transaction, per day, per week, or per month, and will be displayed on the Site or at the cashier interface.
Fees, Charges and Currency Conversion
- We may charge reasonable fees for processing deposits or withdrawals, especially in cases of repeated withdrawal requests without appropriate gaming activity, or where you request withdrawal by a method that incurs additional costs.
- Banks, card issuers, payment providers, and cryptocurrency networks may independently apply transaction, conversion, or processing fees. These are outside our control.
- Where currency conversion is performed, it will be conducted at the rates used by the payment provider or our processing partner at the time of the transaction. We are not responsible for exchange rate fluctuations.
Refunds, Chargebacks and Reversals
- Deposits are generally final and non-refundable once used for gambling activity. We may, in our discretion and only where reasonable, consider refund requests of unused deposits.
- You must not make or attempt chargebacks, reversals, or similar actions on deposits. If you do:
- We may suspend or close your Account;
- We may recover any funds, winnings, or Bonuses derived from the disputed deposit;
- Your details may be shared with relevant payment processors and regulators, in accordance with applicable law.
- If a Game or Bet is voided due to technical or other error under these Terms, we will refund the stake or otherwise adjust your Account to correct the error, but we are not obliged to provide any additional compensation.
Limitation of Liability
Our Obligations and Service Availability
- We will provide the Services with reasonable skill and care and in accordance with these Terms, our licensing requirements under Curaçao law, and any applicable mandatory consumer protections for Canadian Users.
- We aim to ensure that:
- Game outcomes are generated fairly using RNGs or live-dealer processes;
- Account balances and transactions are recorded accurately; and
- The Site is generally available and functioning correctly.
- However, the Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, free from viruses, or compatible with all devices or software.
Exclusions of Liability
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
- Losses or damages arising from interruptions, delays, or failures in telecommunications, internet connectivity, hardware, software, or third-party systems;
- Any inability to access the Site due to maintenance, upgrades, or events beyond our reasonable control;
- Errors or omissions in content, including typographical mistakes, odds inaccuracies, or incorrect display of balances, provided that we correct such errors and adjust Accounts as set out in these Terms;
- Loss of profits, loss of opportunity, business interruption, or other indirect, consequential, or special damages;
- Losses incurred as a result of your failure to comply with these Terms, local laws, or responsible gambling guidelines.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
- Any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Liability Cap
- Subject to the above, and to the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability to you for any single incident or series of related incidents arising out of or in connection with a specific Bet or Game shall be limited to no more than the amount of the stake or Bet actually placed by you in respect of that Bet or Game.
- For other matters not relating to a specific Bet, our aggregate liability to you in respect of any 12-month period shall not exceed the total amount of Real Money that you deposited into your Account during that period, net of withdrawals.
- These limitations apply regardless of the form of action (contract, tort, negligence, etc.) and apply even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages, provided that they do not conflict with non-excludable statutory rights available to Canadian consumers under applicable provincial or federal laws.
Intellectual Property Rights
Ownership
- All intellectual property rights in and to the Site and Services are owned by us, our group companies, or our licensors. This includes, without limitation:
- All software, source code, object code, algorithms, databases, and back-end systems;
- All logos, trademarks, trade names (including "Bluff Bet"), domain names (including bluffbet-play.ca), and branding;
- All text, graphics, images, animations, audio, video, and other content displayed on the Site, including on the Bluff Bet pages;
- Game content supplied by third-party providers.
Permitted Use and Restrictions
- We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Site and Services solely for your private entertainment and non-commercial use, in accordance with these Terms.
- You must not, without our prior written consent:
- Copy, reproduce, modify, adapt, translate, distribute, sell, lease, or otherwise exploit any part of the Site or its content;
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of any software used in connection with the Services, except where permitted by mandatory law;
- Use any automated tools (such as bots, spiders, or scrapers) to access, collect data from, or interact with the Site;
- Frame or mirror the Site on any other website, or create derivative works based on the Site.
- Any unauthorized use of our intellectual property may result in civil and/or criminal liability and may lead to immediate termination of your Account.
Privacy & Data Protection
- We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available on the Site and forms part of these Terms. By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy.
- The Privacy Policy explains:
- What personal data we collect and how we collect it;
- The purposes and legal bases for processing your data;
- How we share data with third parties, including payment providers, game suppliers, and regulators;
- Your rights under applicable data protection laws, which may include rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and data portability;
- How long we retain your data and how we protect it.
- As the Operator is based in Curaçao and Services are offered to Users in Canada, your personal data may be transferred internationally. We will take appropriate measures to protect your data in accordance with applicable laws.
Changes to Terms
Updates and Notification
- We may amend these Terms from time to time to reflect:
- Changes in law or regulatory requirements (in Curaçao, Canada, or elsewhere);
- Changes to our business operations, Services, or technologies;
- Enhancements to user protection, responsible gambling measures, or security practices.
- When we make material changes, we will:
- Publish the updated Terms on the Site, indicating the new effective date; and
- Where required or appropriate, notify you via email, account message, or prominent notice/banner on the Site.
Your Acceptance of Changes
- Continued access to or use of the Services after the updated Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
- If you do not agree with any updated Terms:
- You must stop using the Services immediately; and
- You may request closure of your Account and withdrawal of any available Real Money Balance, subject to verification and any applicable legal or regulatory obligations.
Termination & Suspension
Termination by You
- You may close your Account at any time by contacting customer support at [email protected] or via any dedicated account-closure function on the Site, if available.
- Upon closure, we will, subject to KYC and applicable law, pay out your remaining Real Money Balance. Bonuses and Bonus Balances that are not fully unlocked or wagered will generally be forfeited.
Suspension and Termination by Us
- We may suspend or terminate your Account, or restrict your access to some or all of the Services, with or without prior notice, if we reasonably believe that:
- You have breached these Terms or any Bonus Terms;
- You have provided false or misleading information or failed to complete KYC checks;
- You have engaged in fraud, collusion, money laundering, terrorist financing, bonus abuse, or other unlawful or improper conduct;
- Your use of the Services is contrary to applicable laws or regulatory requirements (including where you are located in a prohibited jurisdiction such as Ontario);
- There is a security concern regarding your Account.
- During suspension, you may not be able to deposit, place Bets, participate in promotions, or withdraw funds until the matter is resolved.
Effect of Termination
- Upon permanent closure of your Account by us (other than for fraud or serious breach), we will, subject to applicable law:
- Pay out your Real Money Balance, less any chargebacks, fees, or amounts owed to us; and
- Void and remove any unused Bonuses and any Bonus Balance not meeting wagering requirements.
- In cases of fraud, money laundering, or serious breach of these Terms, we may be required by law or regulator instruction to withhold funds and/or remit them to regulatory or law enforcement authorities.
- We may close inactive or dormant Accounts after a period notified on the Site, in accordance with applicable law. Reasonable efforts will be made to contact you before closure and to return any remaining Real Money Balance.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
Applicable Law
- These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or your use of the Services, are governed by the laws of Curaçao, without prejudice to:
- Any mandatory consumer protection or gambling laws that apply to you as a resident of a Canadian province or territory; and
- Any overriding public policy rules applicable in your place of residence.
- Nothing in these Terms deprives you of any non-waivable statutory rights you may have under the laws of your province or territory in Canada.
Complaints and Dispute Resolution
- If you have a complaint about the Services:
- First, contact our customer support at [email protected] with full details of your concern, including your Account information, relevant dates, and any supporting evidence.
- We will acknowledge your complaint and aim to provide a substantive response within a reasonable period.
- If, after completing our internal complaints procedure, your complaint remains unresolved, you may escalate it to the Alternative Dispute Resolution/complaint contact associated with our licence by writing to:
- Use of ADR processes does not restrict your right to bring proceedings before a competent court, where this right exists under applicable law.
Courts and Jurisdiction
- Subject to any mandatory rights you may have as a consumer under the laws of your province or territory of residence, any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Services shall be submitted to the competent courts of Curaçao.
- If you are entitled under applicable Canadian law to bring a claim before the courts of your place of residence, nothing in these Terms prevents you from doing so.
